Not every damaged tyre can be repaired. The technician checks the tyre first and tells you what is safe.
When a tyre can usually be repaired
A simple puncture in the main tread area, such as from a nail or screw, can often be repaired, as long as the tyre is otherwise in good condition and it is safe to work on it where you are.
When it needs replacing
A tyre usually needs replacing if the sidewall is damaged or bulging, the tread is worn down, the tyre has been driven flat for some distance, or the damage is too large to repair safely. We can fit a new one at the same visit.
